Raclette - Winter Wine and Hot cheese evening
6pm-9pm 29 October 2022
You know the saying ‘wine and cheese go together like cheese and wine’
We bring you a wine and cheese combo not to be missed. Indulge in the hot Raclette while an expert wine merchant talks all about the finer points of the very best wines.
Not heard of Raclette? That’s okay, we will set the scene for you (however a video will do it more justice…) Hot oozing Swiss cheese, paired with cold meats, bread and potatoes. The result is a comforting winter treat.
If its good enough to bring joy in the frosty Swiss alps, it is surely good enough for us.

WHERE DO CHELMSFORD BREW CO. BABIES COME FROM?
You bring us into your home, it’s time we showed you ours! Once a month we have a guided tour of our brewery in which our head brewer shows you what’s what (and not to touch that!), explaining our process from grain to glass.
The hour-long tour takes you through our equipment and ingredients and how they’re both used, touching lightly on the science of the process and heavily on the quality control aspect (each tour promises free samples).
Learn how our beers are made and finish off by enjoying a cold one in our taproom on us at the end of the tour.
TICKETS
Tickets are £20 per person.
Each month we can take up to 12 people on tour. Want to reserve for a big group? Please get in touch at info@chelmsfordbrewco.co.uk or see more here.
THE FINE PRINT
You don’t need anything special to enjoy our brewery tour, but we do warn you there’s always a possibility of puddles left behind from that day’s brew so open toe shoes may not be ideal.
Our tours are accessible! In fact, our whole taproom is. While our front door has a step up, we’ve got a big warehouse door that ramps up into the brewery so that anyone can enter and enjoy our tours. Unfortunately we do not have a disabled accessible toilet fitted on the premises.
You can buy a tour as a gift for someone - simply forward them the purchase confirmation email. Whoever shows up with the email that day gets to enter the chocolate factory brewery. Just make sure you don’t brag about it to your friends in a screenshot and they show up on the day and steal your spot!
Showing up early is cool, just make sure you let one of our colleagues in the taproom know that you’re here so that when the time comes they don’t start without you! And after the tour you’re more than welcome to hang around until our taproom closes, remember you get one on us after the tour.

WHAT’S COOKING?
PARLOUR’S FRIDAY NIGHT SUPPER CLUB
At the back of our taproom there’ll be a pop-up stand from which Parlour will be serving food. You can reserve to eat in or order meals to collect for takeaway.
THE MENU
Each month, a ticket buys you 1000ml worth of food. Parlour offers three different dishes which include a meat and a vegetarian option - exact menus to be updated shortly.
Every meal is served with homemade, warm Indian bread.
For takeaway meals, you can choose to pick your dish(es) up cold for a nicer reheating experience at home.
RESERVE YOUR TICKET
As we don’t have an in-house kitchen, there is a limited amount of food prepared in advance. While we at the brewery enjoy the leftovers, we don’t want to waste food. It’s on a first-come, first-serve basis for ticket-holders. IF it doesn’t happen to sell out, walk-ins may get lucky enough to buy meals on the night - but no promises!
The taproom opens at 2pm and Parlour starts serving at 4pm.
